Why South Korean people tell a lie a lot?

Korean people are hated in many places
because they are so rude and shows their racism often.

<<They are hated in US, too.>>

As you can see, the real history of Korea was so sad and misery.

What you will be / how you’ll be treated were determined
where (in which class)  you were born,
and once you are in the lower position, your life will be just a tragedy
and there’s no chance  to success.

Because of such extreme discriminations,
it was everyone’s earnest desire to have
“better blood”, or family.

As a result, many people started to lie
(actually, buy/ create the fake family tree)
to claim that they were from the prestigious family,
regardless of what the truth was.

And as you can imagine, the number of
“prestigious family”, the people in privileged class,
was very, very limited.
That means, so many people actually bought (or created)
the family tree originating from those limited family,
and as a result, sooo many people became to have a same last name.

That’s why the variety of the last name in Korea is extremely
limited even now.
This was the beginning of  their lying, or, “creating history”.

“I can become successful by lying and creating fake history!”
This attitude was widespread among Korean people.

As a result, by the time of annexation in 1910, It was already world-widely known that Koreans had an extreme tendency to tell lies.
Let's see some examples.
-----
Hendrick Hamel (1630–1692)'s narrative of captivity and travels in Korea:
"The Koreans are very much addicted to stealing,
and so apt to cheat and lie that there is no trusting them."

A report on "The Outlook" by George Kennan, an American journalist
written in 1905:
"The Koreans are mostly exaggerators or barefaced liars,
 by heredity and by training,

and it is impossible to accept without careful verification"

North China Herald 5 May 1905, (Esson Third):
"No land could possibly make a greater showing for bribery
 and corruption than Korea herself.
On no piece of ground have men deceived and been deceived
more univbersally than in this peninsula."
-----

You can clearly see that Korea was alrady a nation of lying
at that time.

Even now, it is the fact that people can change the name,
or even birth date recorded in official family registry in Korea.
Also, it is the well-known fact that the cosmetic surgery
(you know, changing your face) is very common in Korea.

=> How common is LYING in Korea now?

Koreans tell lies a lot

Koreans, indeed, tell lies a lot.

It's NOT a slander but I'm just talking on a statistics (= facts.)

Let's see an example.

*Number of people indicted for perjury (=telling lies in a court) in the year of 2000:
  - Japan =  5
  - Korea  = 1198

*Ratio of Population:
  - Japan : Korea = 2.7 : 1

This means, comparison of  the ratio of perjury per population is:
  - Japan : Korea = 1 : 647

Isn't this scary?
Imagine you had  Korean business partners.
(Or, just friends.)

When you find just a single lie from the words of Japanese guy,
Korean guy already finished telling over 600 lies to you!

Again, remember?
IT IS SIMPLY A FACT (proven by statistic) that the

ratio of perjury (=liar) in Korea is extremely higher
(way over 600 times greater) than that of Japan.

Koreans think that it's OK (or even nice) to tell a lie
as long as it benefits themselves, their family, or their country.

No wonder why they "Koreate" history and culture.
---

------------------------------------

All these facts come from the same Korean attitude:
It’s OK to lie and change whatever I don’t like.”
After the WWII, Korean Government decided to
even change the history of the whole county.

The actual history is:
1.  Korea had been a slave country of China for hundreds of years.
2. Japan let Korea independent and modernized them
.

However, the history written in Korean textbook is:
1. Korea has been a great, independent country for 5,000 years.
2. We became a modern nation by ourselves
.

5000 years!!
They teach their children that their country existed even before China!

With such ridiculous lies, Korean people are trying to
keep their pride;  the real history is too sad for them.

In Korea,  they do NOT have a choice of textbook
to use in the class but only one.
So, now 100% of children born and grown in Korea
are taught in that way; which means, they believe that
Korea is the greatest and oldest country in the whole world
.

Created, fake history
With this one, Korean people think that they are superior and special.

As a result, they act so nasty and especially,
shows the strong racism everywhere.

No wonder why Korean people are hated in general.

Korea is 34th place out of 50, while their "worst enemy" is 12nd.>>
