Let me please post this anyway...
No offence to Korean people but don't believe these "before and after" pictures from Korean sites. Many of them are photoshoped or maliciously selected bad shots. Of course there are J-celebs who had plastic surgery like any other country's celebs do, but not as many as Korean celebs do.
Their faces are still their face, unique and have their own characteristic, and differents one to another , unlike korean who change almost THE ENTIRE FACE ( eye, jaw, mouth, nose, etc ) and some parts of the body.
There are a few K-pop artists that can really sing and act, but the majority don't impress me. They are just went to clinic and did plastic surgery and fixed their entire face. They are very very handsome and beautiful, and look almost the same, Sometimes I confuse with the faces, because they are look almost the same one to another.

Eye, then nose, jaw, next mouth, next is the new trend 'Joker' lips and aegyo sal....what's next?
And It's not just young actors and actresses -- it's everyone. The statistics about plastic surgery in Korea (particularly with respect to women) cannot be described by any other words than FUCKING ASTOUNDING
- 76 percent of Korean women in their 20s and 30s have undergone plastic surgery. Most of them were epicanthoplasty (i.e. the "double-eyelid surgery".) (So does this mean that 24 percent of Korean women are naturally hot? Something to think about.)
- 25 percent of Korean mothers who have daughters between the ages of 12 and 16 suggested plastic surgery to their daughters. (In the Korean's "Pantheon of Fucked-Up Statistics", this figure has to be the king -- or is it queen?-- slightly leading the figure that nearly 30 percent of South Africa is HIV-positive.)
- 27.4 percent of Korean college graduate job seekers (19 percent of men, 34.1 percent of women) thought they did not fare well in the interview because of their looks. 28.5 precent of job seekers have already undergone plastic surgery or have planned plastic surgery in order to perform better in the job market.
And one more thing I heard so many times that Korean only judging someone based on his/her look.
A nice korean had said :
Jong-hyuk Lee · 연세 대학교, 서울 (Yonsei University, Seoul)
I'm korean too.
It's also true that there are many clinics specialized in plastic surgery in Korea(nice one not naughty one).
and many women do plastic surgery like it's some make up or clothes. it can't be deniable.
it's all because we koreans are too much lookisist especially GUYS.
we always evaluate people's look even when we talk about the athletes.
i'm sick of it.

We don't expect our celebs to be parfect. In Japan, we tend to think personality/individual character is more important than the looks. And we generally prefer girl/boy next door type of beauty more than perfect beauty.
While I was searching for proof pictures in a Japan/Korea auto translating forum, I found most of the photos I saw here were from the threads posted by this crazy Korean girl named "jijimansey". She's been posting tons of threads with fake photos of J-celebs for years... I mean FOUR YEARS! Isn't it crazy? *o* All Japanese there know she's crazy.
I guess Korean people love to dissing Japanese... Not all of them of course, but many of them, you know... ;0
Let's make it clear. Here we go
